A teenage drug smuggler has been rushed to a local hospital following a chase that ended with a stolen truck almost crashing into a house.
It all happened off Trinity Street and South Alamo Road around 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The teen driver jumped a curb in a stolen truck and crashed into a vacant lot.
Authorities found 62 bundles with about 862 pounds of marijuana inside the truck.
Investigators said the teen driver was taken to a local hospital but his condition was not immediately known.
A U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) helicopter used in the chase crashed south of the area.
