Jose Julian Robles and Julio Cesar Robles are wanted for assaulting a man in Brownsville.

They reportedly attacked him in July on the 3500 Block of Alton Gloor.

The two are known members of the Texas Syndicate, a dangerous gang in Brownsville.

"Their presence compared to other gangs, it's a lot larger,” said Jose Trevino with the Brownsville Police Department.

Texans reportedly started the Texas Syndicate in the 1970s while incarcerated in a California prison.

The gang grew in Texas as prisoners were released and returned to the Lone Star State.

Brownsville police said in the last year they've identified 13 Texas Syndicate members in their city.

According to police, to become a Texas Syndicate member one must have been in prison.

Cameron County Sheriff Omar Lucio said he has known Texas Syndicate members in his own jail.

Since 1998, 66 Texas Syndicate inmates were released back to Cameron County, according to Brownsville Police.

Jose Julian Robles and Julio Cesar Robles are just two of them.

They're now wanted for yet another crime.

Police need your help to find them.

If you have any information, contact Brownsville Crimestoppers at 956-546-8477.
