Plane crash reported at Brownsville airport

Authorities are investigating a private plane crash at the Brownsville/South Padre Island International Airport.

It all happened late Tuesday morning.

Brownsville Fire Chief Lenny Perez told Action 4 News that the accident involved a single-engine plane.

Chief Perez said there was no fire and no injuries.

Airport Executive Director Larry Brown told Action 4 News that the plane was from the Commerative Air Force.

Brown said the landing Gear was not down on the airplane.

The pilot was not injured but Brown said there were damages to the plane, propeller and its underside.
