Mexican authorities confirmed that they have now identified 27 bodies pulled from mass graves in San Fernando, Tamaulipas.

Mexico's Attorney General's Office (PGR) confirmed that the body of a man from the State of Puebla has been identified.

The man's body has already been turned over to family members.

The body is only the 27th out of 193 bodies pulled from 43 mass graves to be identified.

Forensic work continues on the rest of the bodies.

More than 80 people remain in custody for the mass graves.

The majority of the victims are believed to be kidnapped bus passengers who were innocently traveling through the area.
