Autism to be studied in Mexican Americans

Researchers at the Regional Academic Health Center in Harlingen are conducting a study to help determine if the Rio Grande Valley's environment has a link to autism in Mexican American children.

Environmental factors to be considered include diet, water and pollution.

Children born to Mexican American mothers and diagnosed with any form of autism are needed for the study.
