Fire destroys mobile home near La Paloma

Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that leveled a travel trailer just north of the rural Cameron County community of La Paloma.

It all happened on the 35000 block of FM 732 around 7:55 a.m. Friday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that there were no injuries but a travel trailer was completely destroyed.

Nobody was reportedly home at the time of the fire.

The cause of the blaze remains unknown at this time.

The Cameron County Fire Marshals Office is investigating what could have sparked the fire.
