Suspect sought after McAllen beer run turns violent

Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying a man accused an McAllen beer run that turned violent.

McAllen police told Action 4 News that it all happened at a store at 720 South 10th Street on Saturday.

Investigators said the suspect assaulted a clerk to steal beer.

Authorities released surveillance images of the suspect on Monday in hopes of identifying him.

Anyone with information is asked to call McAllen Crime Stoppers at (956) 687-TIPS or (956) 687-8477.
