A mobile taco stand, outside the City of Edinburg, was shutdown by order of the Hidalgo County health department.
Kitchen cops found the business was operating without electricity or running water.
The taqueria racked up 42 demerits on a health inspection report.
Inspectors said the mobile vendor typically only operated in the morning hours.
There were plenty of other kitchens busted for dirty dining.
A WIC store in the City of Palmview scored 31 demerits.
The owner of J & L on 205 North FM 492 faced a possible citation from the health department if she didn’t correct the 9 violations on her inspection report.
Then there was the dirty bakery in Weslaco.
La Michoacana’s bakery inside the building on 3001 East Expressway 83 had rodent droppings and flies, according to a health report.
