Authorities told family members suspects being held for questioning

A 15-year-old kidnapped from Starr County has been found safe and sound.

Sheriff Rene Fuentes released few details this morning only saying the girl was found Wednsday morning "around 2 or 2:30 a.m."

Investigators told Action 4 News Christine Gonzalez was kidnapped in front of her home.

Deputies said eyewitnesses told them a couple approached the girl outside of her home.

Minutes later, the the 15-year-old girl was pulled inside an S-U-V on Tuesday afternoon.

Action 4 News did ask the Sheriff if Gonzalez was injured, but he would not elaborate.

He'd only say she was taken to a local hospital for observation.

The Sheriff would not comment on whether suspects were taken in for questions or if arrests had been made.

Family members told Action 4 News that Gonzalez  was not harmed during the incidnet.

But her older sister Priscilla Posada said Gonzalez is tired after the ordeal.

Investigators questioned Gonzalez, who Posada said identified a suspect.

Posada said authorities are not providing many details but told the family that they are holding people for questioning.

As of Wednesday evening, authorities have not confirmed if charges have been filed against anybody.
