Crews are working to fix a main water line break which has caused a drop in water pressure at the Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
Hospital officials told Action 4 News that they had to shut off the water in order to repair this break.
Valley Baptist officials anticipate this problem to be corrected as soon as possible today.
The hospital has been able to maintain our cooling and sterilization facilities.
Officals said they are working hard to address the needs of all of our patients, making sure that there is sufficient drinking and potable water available on all floors of the hospital.
Sinks and water fountains reportedly have low pressure while gallons of water are reportedly being distrubted for use in toilets.
"We look forward to a speedy resolution of this situation, and thank our patients, visitors and staff for their understanding and patience," officials said in a statement.
