Tropical Storm Warnings continue for the entire Rio Grande Valley.

Tropical Storm Don continues to advance toward the west north west around 14 miles per hour.

As of 10 a.m. Friday, Don was located 165 miles east of Brownsville with sustained winds near 50 miles per hour.

Forecast track places Don near Port Mansfield and Baffin Bay later Friday evening.

Brief heavy showers will move into Cameron County before noon, and the edge of the core rains will arrive onshore by 2 p.m. Friday  with the steady rains moving into Cameron and Willacy Counties between 2 and 4 p.m. Friday.

Still on track for a swath of 3-5 and locally 7 inches of rain.

Most will fall before midnight, if not a little sooner in the Lower Valley.

Tropical Storm force winds of 39 miles per hour or greater can be expected in Cameron and Willacy counties.
