Business came to halt at the Matamoros City Hall for several hours on Wednesday following a bomb threat.
Investigators told Action 4 News that a bomb threat to the building was made via telephone around 11:08 a.m. Wednesday.
The call came into the 066 emergency line.
Authorities evacuated the building and searched it but found nothing.
Employees and customers were allowed to return inside the building around 3 p.m. Wednesday.
No suspects have been identified or arrested.
A similar bomb threat was made against the building back in February.
