A missing 12-year-old McAllen boy has been found safe and sound with family members south of the border in Reynosa.

McAllen police asked for the public's help in finding Bryan Olvios.

The 12-year-old boy had left walking away from his south McAllen home on Sunday prompting a concern for his safety.

McAllen police told Action 4 News that Olivos was found safe and sound with his father in Reynosa.

Investigators confirmed that the boy had crossed into Reynosa by himself and is expected to return to McAllen after Spring Break.
