Very strong winds are expected during the early morning hours Monday.

A Cold Front will sweep across the Valley between 3.am and 6.am Monday.

Sustained northwest winds could reach up to 30mph with wind gust of 45-50mph.

The combination of the strong winds and the very dry air will increase the potential for large wild fires.

Wind Damage and isolated power outages are also possible.

The winds are expected to calm down during the evening hours, and by tuesday temperatures should be in the upper 70's with mostly sunny skies.

Remember, there is still a "Burn Ban" in Cameron and Hidalgo Counties.
