Four Los Fresnos teenagers are facing criminal charges after they allegedly sodomized another teen with a cell phone and videotaped the whole thing.

Cameron County Sheriff Omar Lucio spoke to Action 4 News about the ongoing investigation.

Sheriff Lucio said the incident happened on Monday between a group of teens who were all friends and playing a game at home named "pants."

The sheriff reports that four teens between 13 and 14 years old grabbed the 15-year-old victim and forced a cell phone into his anus.

Lucio said the teens videotaped the whole incident.

Los Fresnos Consolidated Independent School District officials said the incident happened off campus confirmed that a teacher heard overheard students talking about it.

The teacher came told school administrators, who later contacted the sheriff's department.

The teen victim spoke with investigators who had him examined by a doctor where it was determined he was sexually assaulted.

Los Fresnos CISD officials confirmed that sheriff's deputies arrested two of the suspects at a middle school on Friday morning.

The other two students were not at school but school district officials told Action4 News that they will continue to cooperate with the authorities.

Sheriff Lucio said all four suspects were arrested and remain in custody where they are expected to be arraigned either Saturday or Monday.

The juvenile judge will determine if they will be prosecuted as adults in the case.

Lucio said investigators may charge the teens with charges ranging from sexual assault to child pornography.
