The Action 4 News series 'On The Road' broadcasted LIVE from San Juan Basilica on Thursday evening.

A cold front was just arriving in the Rio Grande Valley but it didn't stop more than 100 people from turning out to be part of a live television audience.

Action 4 News gave away tickets to see the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and two iPod shuffles.

A number of businesses including Jack-In-The-Box and Bert Ogden Motors turned out to support Action 4 News.

Students from several schools from the PSJA Independent School District turned out to perform in cheerleading, folklorico and mariachi groups.

The Action 4 News series 'On The Road' showcases the 'Spirit Of The Valley' and brings live television broadcasts during our 5 and 6 p.m. newscasts to towns across the Valley.

On The Road is next going to Port Isabel on Thursday, February 3rd.
