A McAllen restaurant busted for dirty dining is caught red-handed by the Food Patrol for a repeat violation on a health report.
Yoko’s Sushi on 1303 S. 10th Street scored 28 demerits.
A health inspector exposed food handlers not washing hands after touching dirty wash cloths and different types of foods.
There were also violations for bug spray inside a food bus station along with no soap or paper towels at any of the commercial hand sinks.
A head waitress on duty explained to the Food Patrol how the violations were corrected.
But when the Food Patrol checked on a towel dispenser at the sushi bar, nothing came out.
The waitress called it “embarrassing” because it was caught on television.
