A Weslaco man is behind bars after he allegedly exposed himself outside a WalMart store and returned to the scene of the crime to do it again.
Weslaco police arrested 33-year-old Elipidio Lopez on two counts of indecent exposure on Wednesday.
Investigators told Action 4 News that a woman first made a complaint about Lopez last week.
She said Lopez was in a car and allegedly exposed himself to her in the parking lot of the Weslaco WalMart.
The woman wrote down his license plate and called police.
Authorities had drafted an arrest warrant for Lopez's arrest when police received a call about another indecent exposure incident outside the same store.
Police headed to scene and found Lopez driving a Ford Explorer headed north on Texas Boulevard.
Lopez appeared before a Weslaco municipal court judge where he received $20,000 dollars in bonds.
Court records show that Lopez has previous arrests in Progreso and Hidalgo County for crimes ranging from criminal trespass to assault.
Anyone else who believes that Lopez exposed himself to them is asked to call the Weslaco Police Department at (956) 968-8591.
