McAllen police have asked for the public's help in finding a man wanted for questioning in a case where a woman was shot in the face.
The incident happened at the La Casita Motel off South 4th Street last Thursday morning.
Police are looking for 24-year-old Javier Valles Jr. on a criminal attempted murder charge in the case.
Investigators told Action 4 News on Tuesday that Valles was last seen with a man known only as “Felipe” or “El Güero."
McAllen polie released a surveillance camera photo of the second person in hopes of finding him for questioning in the case.
Anyone with information on the identity of the person of interest or the whereabouts of Valles is asked to call McAllen Crime Stoppers at 956-687-TIPS or (956) 687-8477.
Information leading to an arrest in the case is eligible for a $1,000 dollar reward.
