A vigorous disturbance in the upper levels of the atmosphere will swing through central Texas late this afternoon.
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop along a squall line and move through Deep South Texas Saturday night through Sunday morning.
There is a small possibility for some thunderstorms to become strong to severe.
The main threat with the thunderstorms will be strong damaging winds, heavy rains and lightning.
With the storm intensifying and with the strong wind shear, there is also a potential for Tornadoes.
The time line for these storms will be overnight tonight after Midnight into the early morning hours.
Residents in Deep South Texas are urged to monitor the latest forecast.
