A Brownsville teen is behind bars after he allegedly had a sexual relationship with a 12-year-old girl.
Brownsville police arrested 17-year-old Cesar Ivan Ruiz on child sex abuse charges on Tuesday morning.
It's not clear how Ruiz met the girl but investigators told Action 4 News that he had a sexual relationship with her.
Ruiz is facing aggravated sexual assault of a child and continuous sexual of a child charges.
Police said they arreted the 17-year-old at a home off the 2400 block of Hamburg Street in northwest Brownsville.
Investigators said Ruiz is also wanted on several felony charges in Florida.
