A recount of ballots for Congressional District 27 continues in Cameron County.

The process was requested by Democratic Party incumbent Solomon Ortiz, who came in about 800 votes behind Republican challenger Blake Farenthold.

The race now comes down to Cameron County where officials are busy recounting ballots filed in the race.

According to recount officials, it doesnt look promising for incumbent Ortiz.
