Authorities are investigating a major accident in the La Rosita Area in Starr County.
DPS Troopers told Action 4 News Bevo Yanez was travelling eastbound on Expressway 83 when the “lost control” and rammed into a pick-up with a couple inside.
The accident happened Friday night around 7 o’clock.
The husband and wife were both critically injured and were transported to McAllen Medical Center.
The drive that reportedly causes the crash fled on foot and is still wanted.
Bevo Yanez believed to be in the Starr County area.
