Tropical Depression Two continues on its path toward Brownsville at 14 miles per hour.

At 8 a.m., the depression was at an estimated 65 miles away from Brownsville.

The depression is expected to reach inland between noon and 3 p.m. today.

As the tropical depression creeps closer to the Valley, there's a big threat for heavy rainfall.

The Valley could expect 4 to 8 inches of rain and isolated maximum amounts of 10 inches.

The rain is forecasted to occur on top of already saturated ground and rain-swollen creeks and rivers across part of Southern Texas.

There's a flash flood watch for deep south Texas until Friday evening.

There's also a tropical storm warning for Kenedy, coastal Willacy and coastal Cameron counties.

A tropical storm wind warning is in effect for Hidalgo, inland Willacy and inland Cameron counties.
