San Benito police are on the scene of a fatal wreck involving several cars and two 18-wheelers.
Authorities confirmed an accident but are not releasing details.
Witnesses at the scene told Action 4 News that the wreck took place off FM 732 and Pennsylvania Avenue early Wednesday afternoon.
A witness reported that a farmer was burning his land at the time of the accident causing heavy smoke on the roadway.
Authorities confirmed that one person was killed in the accident.
