Mentally-challenged man attacked at San Benito bar

San Benito police are looking for four suspects who allegedly attacked a mentally-challenged man at a local bar.

Investigators told Action 4 News that the attack happened at the Gas Station Bar on Travis Road back on May 8th.

Police released surveillance video and crime scene photos in hopes of identifying the suspects.

Investigators said three or four people attacked Rudy Cortez.

Cortez has been recovering from the beating.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the San Benito Police Department at (956) 361-3880.
