Drive-thru store robbed north of Mission

Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating the robbery of a drive-thru convenience store north of Mission.

Deputies reported that the Whassup Drive-Thru off Mile 6 North and Bentsen Palm Drive was robbed late Saturday afternoon.

Few details were available about the incident but investigators said cash was taken from the register.
