North Bridge Avenue is home to Roosevelt Elementary school in Weslaco.
The campus has been a fixture in the area for decades.
But over the last couple of years, Irma Rodriguez said drivers have started to speed down the road more often.
She believed speeders prefer the wider road, which provides an easy access to the expressway.
The Speedzapper set up shop outside the school to find out just how bad the speeding problem is.
