The food patrol exclusively obtained nasty kitchen photos inside a dirty diner in McAllen that was shutdown by the health department.
El Nuevo Pocito on 203 south 17th Street scored 18 demerits on a re-inspection report.
The restaurant was featured as a low performer earlier this month on Food 4 Thought.
But it wasn’t just blood-splatter from meat that got the restaurant into trouble.
Kitchen cops also found live and dead roaches along with a hand sink that lacked hot water for proper sanitation.
