Man hit by car off 17th Street in McAllen

McAllen police are investigating the cause of an auto pedestrian accident.

According to investigators a man was crossing 17th Street near Bicentennial and Chicago when he was struck by a car driven by a woman.

The man was transported to the hospital with a possible broken leg.

At this time, the driver has not been cited.

The case remains under investigation.
