The Cameron County Sheriff’s Department is looking for Eulogio Sanchez Hernandez.
On April 7, 1991, Jose Monse Lerma was playing pool with his and son and grandsons at Blanka’s Lounge, which is located at 3702 San Jacinto Road in Brownsville.
Sanchez Hernandez and two buddies sat down next to Lerma and started hurling insults toward the family.
Investigators said things got heated and Sanchez Hernandez pulled out a loaded .380 caliber gun, pointing it at Lerma.
Sanchez Hernandez was outnumbered, so he went outside and started to climb into a vehicle.
Investigators said he then turned around and shot Lerma four times, killing him.
Sanchez Hernandez took off and hasn’t been seen since.
He has family in Houston, but visits Brownsville often.
Sanchez Hernandez is 41 years old, has black curly hair, brown eyes, weighs 170 pounds and stands 5 feet 9 inches tall.
He also has three distinguishing moles on his face: one on his upper lip, one on the side of his chin and one on his throat.
He is known to be a heavy drinker and drug user and investigators said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
