La Mexicana on North 2nd Street in McAllen was temporarily shut down for unsanitary health practices.
The restaurant was featured on Food 4 Thought as a dirty diner in the past.
Kitchen cops found 34 demerits and took plenty of dirty photos inside the kitchen.
Only the Food Patrol is revealing the filth, which included a microwave oven that appeared to be never cleaned.
