More and more reports are emerging from the Tamaulipas side of the border about heavily-armed conflicts involving drug cartels.

Officials have confirmed the deaths of at least 19 people from Matamoros to Miguel Aleman in the recent rash of violence.

Many are wonder if the tourist shopping town of Nuevo Progreso is immune from the violence.

Action 4 News sent reporter Katie Lopez to investigate.
