A Valley man was arrested for sexually assaulting a child at a day care in South McAllen.
It happened 5 years ago.
The now 11 year old told police that she was molested at Sunshine Academy on South 8th Street in McAllen.
Following the outcry, McAllen police said they investigated claims and arrested Fransisco Lopez Jr.
He was officially charged on Friday and his bond was set at 300 thousand dollars.
A source tells Action 4 News, the suspect was accused twice before of molestation and never found guilty.
