Authorities are investigating the cause of an early Tuesday morning fire at a home on South Padre Islaand.

Firefighters were called to home off Laguna Circle on the Island's north end around 4 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Action 4 News viewer Jennifer Kimpling captured part of the fire with her camera and sent in the footage.

South Padre Island officials told Action 4 News that nobody inside the home at the time of the fire.

Fire officials reported that no other adjacent properties to the house were damaged.

But the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
