A Harlingen teenager has gone Hollywood.
Rio Grande Valley native Caitlyn Taylor Love is co-starring on the new Disney XD sitcom “I’m In The Band”.
The show features a teenager who wants to be a rock star.
The McAllen Monitor reported that Love play’s the main star’s best friend.
The Harlingen native told the Monitor that her character on the show is a lot like herself – an aspiring singer.
“I could sing before I could walk,” Love told The Monitor. “But professionally – well, not professionally, that sounds weird – for about three, four years. But I’ve always wanted to do it.”
According to the Disney XD website, “I’m In The Band” airs tonight at 6 p.m. CST.
The Monitor reported that DisneyXD airs locally on Time Warner Cable channel 127, Dish Network channel 174 and DirectTV channel 292.
