Authorities are searching for six men after they allegedly abandoned $1 million dollars worth of cocaine in a duffel bag.

Border Patrol officials told Action 4 News that cameras spotted suspicious activity along the Rio Grande south of Granjeño early Friday morning.

Six men were seen coming from the river carrying bundles and loading them into the back of Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck.

The men and the driver swam across the Rio Grande into Mexico as Border Patrol agents approached.

Authorities said they found a duffel bag with 15 bundles of cocaine inside the truck.
