The final two of three suspects are behind bars after being arrested for stealing several flat-screen TVs from a Harlingen appliance store.
Harlingen police told Action 4 News that the burglary happened at Aaron’s Appliances at 811 W. Harrison St. back in November.
Burglars broke a large front window and took three flat-screen televisions.
Detectives told Action 4 News that surveillance video allegedly lead them to three suspects identified as:
- Francisco Contreras, 46
- Samuel Leal Garcia, 31
- Felipe Muñiz, Jr., 25
The three men are each charged with burglary to a building and engaging in organized criminal activity.
Both Contreras and Garcia are from Harlingen but Muñiz is from Raymondville.
Police were able to recover one of the stolen television and arrested Contreras in December.
Officers tracked down Garcia and Muñiz at house of North 27th Street late Tuesday night.
Police placed an additional charge of failure to identify against Muñiz.
Garcia remains in custody under $15,000 dollars in bonds while Muñiz remains in jail under $17,000 dollars in bonds.
