Deputies investigate Edinburg area kidnapping

Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating an alleged kidnapping that took place on Thursdsay night.

Investigators told Action 4 News that a man was kidnapped off FM 2812 and Doolittle Road.

The alleged victim told deputies that he managed to escape and call 911.

Investigators told Action 4 News they may have identified the kidnappers and are working on securing an arrest warrant.
