BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS -- A big drug bust at the Gateway International Bridge in Brownsville left a Brownsville man in trouble with the law.

The cocaine and methamphetamine seizure happened Wednesday.

Customs and Border Protection Officers said they discovered more than $372,000 worth of drugs in the rear bumper of a Saturn.

A drug canine smelled the packages of cocaine and meth hidden in a special compartment.

The driver, Edgar Mendoza, was arrested on drug charges.
