Alzheimer's Memory Walk Fundraiser in Harlingen

HARLINGEN, TEXAS -- You can help raise money to find a cure for Alzheimer’s Disease this month.

The Alzheimer’s Association of America is hosting the annual Memory Walk fundraiser on October 17, 2009, at 9 a.m. at the DISH Network Facility in Harlingen, located at 2809 E. Grimes Avenue.

This years Memory walk is completely volunteer-led and is the first one of its kind in the Rio Grande Valley.

The walk is the year’s biggest Alzheimer’s fundraiser and all proceeds go to the research and support of those affected by this terrible disease, a disease that impacts over five million Americans each year.

The walk will also offer live music, fun, and food.
