EDINBURG, TEXAS -- Two Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District school bus drivers who were fired last week have filed paperwork to get their jobs back.

The two men, bus monitor Israel Garza and bus driver Eligio Diaz, were caught on surveillance video sleeping on the clock and several other policies.

ECISD attorney Jacques Treviño said Thursday that the men filed for grievance hearings regarding their terminations.

Treviño said the district has 10 business days to hold a hearing.
