Burglars steal 15 computers from Brownsville school

BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS -- Someone burglarized a school in Brownsville early Tuesday morning.

Brownsville police have asked for public support in finding the burglars.

An alarm went off at the IDEA Public School building, located between Dakota Road and Dockberry.

Someone stole 15 computers from the campus.

"One pile had five computers, another pile had four computers and the other had six computers," explained Sgt. Jimmy Manrrique.  "In all, they took 15 computers from inside the building."

No arrests have been made.

Any information on the crime should be reported to Brownsville police at (956)546-TIPS.
