Students from at least five school districts are returning to classes on Monday after being dismissed to halt the spread of the swine flu.

At least nine Rio Grande Valley school districts closed their doors because of the dreaded flu over the past two weeks.

Harlingen CISD students returned to classes on Friday and come back again today.

Students from school districts in Rio Grande City, Weslaco, Mercedes, Rio Hondo and San Benito also return to classes on Monday.

Several private schools have followed suite.

The Brownsville ISD website states classes resume there on Tuesday.
