BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS -- The Texas General Land Office Oil Spill division and the U.S. Coast Guard will hold a public meeting in Brownsville on Tuesday, March 24.
Both agencies welcome the public to the joint meeting at the Port of Brownsville Fire Department, located at 1855 CPT. Donald Foust Road in Brownsville.
The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. and will last until noon.
It will provide a chance to catch up on the latest developments with both the Land Office and the Coast Guard.
This is a great opportunity to meet pollution prevention and response personnel and network with colleagues.
Among the topics to be discussed are response efforts to hurricanes Dolly and Ike, the Port Isabel Logistical Terminal, offshore exploration and dispersant and surface washing agents.
