Reynosa chase, shootout ends with arrest

Mexican media outlets are reporting that a chase a Monday night shootout between federal police and criminals ended with at least one arrest in Reynosa.

The name of the suspect has not been released but Mexican media outlets are reporting that the incident took place on Reynosa's Bulevar Morelos around 10 p.m. Monday.

The El Excelsior newspaper reported that a Nissan Maxima did not stop a for federal police known in Mexico as PFP.

A chase ensued and bullets were exchanged between PFP officers and the occupants of the Nissan Maxima.

El Excelsior reported that the incident ended with at least one arrest.
