HARLINGEN, TEXAS -- After nearly a month on the run, a Harlingen man has been arrested in the brutal beating of another man.

Harlingen police say Sixto Adriano used a crow bar to beat the man in January.

The man suffered cuts and bruises on his arm and head.

"At the time of the report, the man had some minor lacerations, some pain and swelling," said Harlingen police Sgt. John Parrish.

Adriano disappeared after the attack, but police found him and arrested him over the weekend.

Adriano faces aggravated assault charges.

His bond is set at $15,000.
