The family of a murdered Alton man is offereing a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest of his alleged killer.

Several weeks ago, the body of 35-year-old Miguel Angel Narvize was found on the side of the road near the intersection of Inspiration and 5 Mile Line in Alton.

Police thought it was an autopedestrian accident but now believe his death was intentional.

Investigators have exhausted all leads in the case and now, his family is turning to the public for help.

"He was so nice, so caring," Narvize's widow Irma Lozya said. "I can't imagine why anyone would have wanted to hurt him."

Anyone with information on the case is asked to Alton police at (956)
