It's the little chocolate shop that could "berried" in a little town far from the likes of gourmet sweet shops, but the owner Yvonne Sandoval who some call Mrs. Berry, says her chocolate concoctions could rival any of Willy Wonka's and are specially made for each and every customer.
"There are no two people that are going to get exact same thing."
She's got the goods and now berry delicious is expanding their business moving into a second location in Pharr.
Plus, the owners decided to create mouthwatering desserts for people who would like to stay away from the sugar.
"We've been able to develop chocolate recipes for our milk, white, and dark for diabetics so they can enjoy Valentine's as well."
Along with the love that goes into each sweet at Berry Delicious goes a little consideration for the sour economy.
"We've been able to keep prices the same as 5 years ago. Keeping customers in mind and maybe they'll have a little money to go to the movies or enjoy dinner."
And after dinner, chocolate covered strawberries or the new favorite, "One of the items very popular last year were the Chocolate Dipped Jalapenos. It ended up being a tremendous success selling as many jalapenos as we were strawberries last year."
