COMBES -- An ex-Valley police chief who won a legal battle against the city of Combes has a new book published about the ordeal.

Art Flores is a former Combes police chief turned author of the book titled "Combes Badge of Honor.”

The 173-page story details his struggles to regain what he calls his “integrity” back after being accused of wrongdoing.

Flores’ case eventually settled.  As part of the deal he received $25,000 and the title “retired chief.”
